Working on the car to make it safer to drive and ready to roll to the meet. Car hasnt been on the highway since early winter. Just short trips around town.<br /><br />I was tired of not being able to monitor shit going on in my engine and shit so I got my Gauge setup, and center panel stuff worked out and some other electrical stuff. MILLION props to Trucky for being so patient and helpful with my electrical shit as i get lazy and stuff. Very much appreciated. I wanted to go with Blitz BLM, or HKS gauges but mechanical is sooooo much easier and Autometer is much cheaper and works super good. Ill probably get some BLM's eventually but I like these alot actually.<br /><img src="https://2img.net/h/i68.photobucket.com/albums/i23/dstar180/Gauges.png" border="0" alt="ESTRELLA-D - Part 1. - Page 16 Gauges"/><br />Got working radio and shit again, Boost and Water temperature gauge, switches from left to right are Gauges, Fan, Fuel pump.<br /><br />For the coolant temp gauge, we used the oem T located on the lower radiator hose for the coolant temp sensor from a single cam KA. We got lucky and found it at a junkyard, then you just tap the T and thread in the brass fitting and sensor and wire up the gauge and slide the T inline on your radiator hose.<br />I recommend using that T setup, makes shit soo much easier.<br /><br />I got super tired of my new front bumper scraping everything and falling off alot AND fitting like shit. So i strategically drilled ziptied and shit to make it fit like a glove and not sag between the fenders anymore. Whats really cool about that is I gained about an inch of clearance in the front, so I took advantadge of that by lowering the front a hair and maxing out the camber again. As soon as I get my new tires with much better sizing it should be tucking a little, maybe even drop some more. RT615+Voltex=Insane Grip at triple digit speeds. Feels so GOOOOOOD. Oh yeah, I started my new job today, so as of today, this is my only car and daily driver, 30 miles each way.<br />Did it like a champ. Straight and true the whole way. <img src="/users/2914/30/62/53/smiles/68222.gif" alt="thumb up" longdesc="54" /> <br /><br />Thursday or Friday i will be maxing out the lowness of the front coilovers without collar removal(im only 3/4 inch away from that anyway), and lowering the rear about 2 inches. Gotta pull the fenders MORE.<br /><br />OH, i got tired of the saggy mouth rear bumper so i ziptied it up and it looks TONS better.<br /><img src="https://2img.net/h/i68.photobucket.com/albums/i23/dstar180/asdfaf.png" border="0" alt="ESTRELLA-D - Part 1. - Page 16 Asdfaf"/><br />Nice and tight.<br /><br />I also went super revival on the Voltex, when i got it, it was missing some bolts on the endplates adn upper wing deck. So the decks rattled and shook at idle and shit. I took out all the regullar bolts and used rivets instead after I adjusted it, so its perfect now. Also spent about an hour removing all the adhesive still on it from the packaging useing goo gone.<br />End result is Brand new looking wing.
