ESTRELLA-D - Part 1.

Ok, got alot done today finally.
Finally got the call that the car was ready to be picked up.
Had a couple problems getting it home, the 17x9's were rubbing the coilover up front even with slip on 5mm spacers, so had to hear that the whole way home and cringe, car was still slammed like a retard so i was scraping my intercooler everywhere and scared of denting the sr's oil pan.
Also, car was bogging out alot and altogether running sort of shitty.
Pumped my first tank of 93 octane. Car felt better after that, got it on the highway downshifted to 3rd and gave it a bit of a stab just to feel it.
Whoooooooooo. That shit is FAST. Scared the shit out of me. 2nd gear going into boost ripped the rear tires so bad i thought it was clutch slip...
hahahah.

SO, got the car to Truckys while they were finishing Reds motor.
First order of business was raising the car and replacing the fucked up rear mounts on my Stances. For some reason the Polyurethane bushing got all tore the fuck up on them. Causing a BIG hole and letting them slide far enough into the spindle stud shit whatever to gain about another degree and a half of spacer. Heres a pic of how bad they had gotten and my new one.


Dunno what could have caused that. Maybe too much street drifting on full slam and party camber?
Either way my buddies at TF hooked it up with mounts for free.
Hopefully these last longer.
So yeah, coilover was seized up a bit, me and Red whooped its ass, got it free, raised the car. Got the Buddy club installed, Trucky helped me install my boost gauge, we found why the car was bogging like shit and woulnt rev. There was an open air nipple on the maf adapter for the cone filter.
Plugged that up shit ran goooood. Then i changed the wheels from the 17x9 to Truckys 15x8 sportwacks until i get my massive spacers. Washed the car, cleaned the SR up a bit. Then i got the Voltex on and stuff. Trucky and Frankmon cut my pignose front to clear the massive Greddy core. Ended up something like this, dont mind the fucking wheels or stock pigcrap front for now.


After that i drove it around for awhile making PSHHH noises.

Engine setup is S14 SR with Greddy Vspl fmic, Blitz super soundoff bov, Hks downpipe,Exedy clutch, custom exhaust, intake. blah blah blah. T28 at only 8 Psi. SHits crazy fast for me.
Tomorrow i install some more interior stuff and take pics, fix some wiring,
get the rest of the gauges in. Ill keep you posted. Im just glad i have the car in my posession again.

they don't go down

itd be more of a problem if they didnt go up.

They DO go down, i hate how it LOOKS with the lights down.

I dont drive the car anywhere.
Ill get pulled over in a second. And i work far from home.
Also, it has no PS for now, it sucks driving it. I have the pump and reservoir, i just need to locate some lines and try to do it. Also need a Walbro 255 before i can get on it. OH, also has no Tach, where do you get the tach signal for SR? On ka it was one of the coil wires, have no clue for sr. I have no clue when to shift if im getting on it.

i dont think single cam tach will work with SR....

Temp gauge doesnt work either, only gas gauge.

sohc cluster wont work... you need either dohc or jdm cluster... goodluck your car starting to look really good...

Actually, in my SR the speedo works fine and I didn't swap the S13 Vss, but everyone tells me it shouldn't.

SOHC tach won't work with either DOHC KA or SR. Its the fail part of pignose, along with PS lines.
Speaking of PS lines, AN fittings/lines add up to $60 for the pressure side.
As far as temp, you need KA sender as well - I think.

an SOHC cluster wont work with the dual cam sr, mine didnt work with my ca..i believe that all you need is a dual cam cluster...and something else im not sure..

why doesn't the temp gauge work?
mine worked fine.
i remember my speedo problem with my tach.
top speed = 57.5mph

LMK, it takes like no time to swap 'em out.
