If your changing the clutch, in my experience, it turned out being easier and faster to just pull the motor/trans out and do it outside the car.

But the car is lookin good. I agree to raise it up a bit more in the rear. BTW, dildo knobs kick ass, but not in 240 imo.

My drop lamp took a shit, so i ran to my room and ripped that off my desk. Anyway,finished up my clutch, then we tried to get my trans on for like 3 hours, couldnt get it in. Were fucking failures. Try again tomorrow. Heres a pic.....most of the aero is off in it.

All i need after this is to get my diff welded up and get some welding work done to my seat rails and ill make it to Drift Day.

Loosening the motor mounts and taking off the rear of the exhaust helps with getting the trans out, as for the top bolts you can get to one from the engine bay and the other with a wobble extension and some luck from the passenger side.

yah we actually took teh trans OFF like last week.....were done now, we just cant get it back ON. BUt thanks Adikt haha.......my midget carnie hands showed those top bolts whose boss.

A set of swivel sockets and a long extension is the ticket.

But yeah, the hard part is gettin that bitch back in and lined up.
It is sooo much easier when you do it while your car is on a lift and you have a tranny jack!

TOok all day again, but we got it in........reassembled, even cleand, then i drove my car........SOoooooooo long ago since i drove it.......new clutch feels really good. Got most of my goodies done....big ass shifter feels awesome..car is so different feeling, since last fall, stiff, low, weird. Looks much better too.
Im NEVER doing a clutch again........ill pay for it next time, gladly.

OH..........you know how when the you slide that first part of the drive shaft off and the back part falls down like some sort of giant horse penis??? Yeah that fell straight on me..................FUCK i have a huge welt on my leg...
More funny stuff too..........but yeah.......

Now i just neet to get my diff welded and some welding done to my seat rails, get my clutch broken in, repaint my hood and side skirts, get my steering wheel in from shipping and yeah.

Last things remaining on the list are.
1. BN sports style hood.
2. Kouki rear valances.
3. Harnesses.

And thats it for this year.....all the big shit is done, the rest will be done before summer hits.

i still have to pull mine for the stupid fucking bearing. im thinking that i may not have to drop the whole trans. just pull it out a little, jam that shit in, and slide it back in. hopefully it will go smoothly.

i think the problem lies with leaving the trans out for over a day. when the motor sits it starts tilting nose down making the back stick up higher. so its harder to align the input shaft. so doing it all at once would make it better.

oh, and now you see why i spent the money on the stage 2 clutch? i dont want to deal with that shit again.

Being super low is still around..but i daily it now...so it went up about half an inch in the front. Its still retarded and unusably low....

so what are the future plans?

Umm. This winter should be good. It will center around one thing. GT wing.

You need power to pull off a GT wing, so Boost up T28 sr will have to go in.
You need big forged wheels to pull off a GT wing, so 5 lug and some 17/18 x10 forged goodness will have to go on.
You need craziness aero to pull off a GT wing so pimping ass front bumper with canards and a splitter and a BN sports hood will have to go on, but most of my current aero will stay.
White paint will be standard issue. As will a black roof with rainbow flake. Other cool stuff.
