| so, as some of you may have noticed I have either been showing up to meets in my daily or riding shotgun with somebody... here's why. My car, a 1989 Nissan 240sx coupe, had been sitting outside under a cover all winter. Long story short, I stepped on my break pedal and there was no pressure and the car didn't stop. Luckily i was going slow enough to use the ebrake to stop it. Turns out my break master cylinder failed, and I figured it was time for an upgrade. THmotorsports hooked me up with some stainless steel break lines and ARP headstuds. Among recieving these, there was oil leaking from my head (its an SR20DET redtop by the way), the rear main seal, and other places to which i don't feel like naming now. So I figured id replace all the headgaskets on it, so I stopped at touge factory and picked some up. Then, since the head was already off the car, I decide to pretty much have to motor removed, dissassembled, and looked at to make sure everything is good. Now my motor is undergoing pretty much a complete overhaul, and some welds and a wiretuck are going to be done. Anyways, enough boredom, here's some pics... my decapitated SR... motor removed lotta junk in the trunk... :run: block itself... powerwash before some making it pretty primar applied aliuminum paint applied... purrrrrty more pics comming, still gotta get a couple parts... | |

| Stock sr is 7 psi. Its not your block thats limiting your boost, its your turbo, injectors, maf thats limiting your boost. T25 starts falling apart past 12psi. You should really go read up on zilvia or something. P.S. ARP studs are not gonna make your motor handle more power or anything, their mostly for insurance. | |

| stock SR runs 7psi without the OEM boost solenoid (99.9% of swaps do not come with this)
10psi if you have it.
T25 maxes out around 1 bar.
your engine can handle a lot more power than your turbo is capable of... | |

| more updates got the head back today, everything is good on it, no flaws or anything only problem is some bitch studs that won't come out, or are crossthreaded and have to be hela coiled. my head looks good polishing it off heating the aluminum trying to get the exhaust manifold studs out then hela coiling the fucked up threads | |

| update... had a lotta miscellaneous shit painted... overkill? maybe so, but it looks good. wheel welds were kinda beat up, so a little stronger metal was welded in place to replace the bent up ugly looking wheel wells a wire tuck is also in progress... some things missing here... new water pump installed, various gaskets replaced, repainted and timed, pretty much ready to go, just waiting on my valve cover and intake manifold gonna order a fidanza aliminum flywheel either this week or next week | |

| another way you could have taken the exhaust studs off was to flatten the studs on both sides with a grinder or a file, and then using an adjustable wrench to turn it off | |
