| Fuck yea, that's why whenever i have to buy little trinkets and things, i'll buy oddball JDM stuff that no one ever has.
Which style kakimoto did you go with? iirc they have a bunch of styles ranging from OEM looking to full race N1 style.

| Kakimoto literally makes anything. Most of their exhausts are one-off.
I have an old Kakimoto catalouge that came in a REVspeed mag. You can even choose different piping and resonators for your pre-designed, production spec, exhaust when you get it made.

| Just got the Kakimoto in today, it's sweet! I picked up another car, it was Maxs car of Blood Runner fame. It's a mint 95 SE with 75k miles on it. It's just missing the front brakes but I'll be picking up a z32 setup this weekend, motor and trans mounts and obviously the front end. It already has z32 rear brake setup with PMU pads aluminum drive shaft PSM Subframe risers with SPL solid diff bushing and a welded 4.3 diff Blitz NUR spec, Megan headers/downpipe Im really excited about having a clean car finally and plan on keeping this thing forever. I kicked my other car out of storage and here it is sitting at my friends house where it will stay until the snow is gone. | |

| Sorry I should have clarified. I'll be swapping everything over to the rust free car and continuing on with that next year. Idk what i want to do with my current car yet other than drive the shit out of it this year. | |

| Edgar, no this has been the same chassis he has owned for like 4 years or something. He's moving to Japan in March so he had to get rid of everything. | |

| Oh and I also finally realized that Fortune Autos come with 7k/6k springs stock so no wonder I've been having issues because that's pretty soft. I'll add spring upgrade to the list for this winter also. | |

| Small update of shit I've been stock piling but it's something. Went to meet a guy at TF for a mint OEM Kouki hood and ended up walking out with dream wheel for a good deal, Nardi Classic 330mm with silver spokes. Also got a rear eccentric bolt lock out kit because I'm 99% sure I knocked my shit loose at DD50 and the car felt horrible while drifting so I hope this fixes that and also gives my alignment that act right. Got a GP Sports cooling plate, new rear z32 brake lines because Max rubbed through one, and also picked up full z32 front brake setup. Here are all the smaller items in one picture. I just got the subframe dropped on the other car so I can sandblast and paint that, then turn the car around and start pulling the motor to paint the engine bay. And I'll be running the aluminum driveshaft and 4.3 in my car this year so I'm hoping this shit should feel insane. | |

| Too rad. What's the dealio with final drives bullshit(as-in how you are doing it)? Edgar was talking to me about them a while go and he made it sound cool. Been wanting to try a different fd since then but I'm too chicken shit to rip apart a diff. Always hearing about dudes fucking up backlashes and fartblossem. I have no idea what that means but it's enough for me to be like, nah.
C'mon spring! | |

| The other car already has it installed in the diff and the diff is already welded so it's literally just a diff swap. I would never do it if I had to actually install the R&P myself lolol | |

| you'd want to take your diff to a differential/transmission shop to swap r&p, its decently involved. I did my new one myself, but it would have been cheaper to just pay someone to do it considering all the specialty tools I had to buy.

Also, man I forgot how fun it was blasting the freeway with Tomy and you. We were the only ka assholes besides shayan(pepper) straight flooring it. Haha. Let's do that more this year. Haha

| Yea so pretty much 4.1, it should make the car feel a lot more peppy especially with my full anorexic drive line.
Dave, that night was one for the books indeed. Excited for way more of that.

| Got my windows tinted last week, so happy with the outcome. Put the battles up front to get an idea of how it will look and so I can paint the front wheels, gonna go with gloss black on the wheels so I'll have to redo the rears after I burn off these tires. Starting to install all my parts I have for this and hopefully I can align it this weekend at my work and then I'm ready for the season. | |
