dumb question?

I know i shouldn't be driving my car in the winter but i only have one car for now so the 240 starts and drives fine but i think i need a new battery alternator and something with power steering. my question is if im running a lot of accessories and lights start to dim and shit does it mean my alternator is messed up or the battery?

b/c i thought the battery is supposed to make sure it doesn't surge like that..... i honestly don't fucking know I'm in the stage where i feel like i had to of messed something up driving it in bad conditions any input would help thanks. i have no subs or shit like that either. i can't wait until spring ughh.

The thing with my power steering is that it squeaks when its really cold out but once i drive a block or two it wont squeak turning the wheel at all. I have no leaks at all. i just finished the damn car in September. I'm aggravated

Yes, you need a new alt, mine does the same, im driving my winter beater so I don't have to worry about that till spring.

Also I heard using an alt from a nissan quest its better.

Anyone ever try this? I know you have to shave a little bit off of one of the brackets.

fer sure a new alternator. i will never forget the time going to chicago in my eg and the radio went dead then the dome lights then the spedo then the tach and the headlights and brake lights went out and turned around going around 110 the whole way home at 12am lol and died out right on the on ramp from 55 to 355. what fun.
