| I'm debating the too. I know a lot of ppl here have stance and I was wondering, how do you like them and how is the drive (ride quality) of them. They will go on a daily driver, but I plan to take it to the track once and awhile. | |

the KTS look nothing like my STANCEs as far as the mounts. i highly doubt it. i havent seen any other coilovers that are as beefy as the stance are. KTS STANCE http://www.stancesus.com/specifications.phpthe KTS are said to be S13 from where i got the pics from, and the Stance look just like my S13 ones. even the collars are very different. so to conclude, they arent the same.

| oh, and to answer the question, i LOVE my stance's. i used to run them on full stiff, and as specter said, theyre kidney hurting painful. im now on a more medium stiffness on the 8/6 springs. i compare the ride quality to specter's tein s.tech's but more firm. its deffinately very daily driver friendly imo. i keep it a little firm all the time, so i havent tested to see just how soft they go, but im about 7 clicks from full still front and rear as we speak and it goes down another 6 if i remember correctly. i havent had any other coilovers, so im not able to compare them to anything else thats out there, but i am a very satisfied customer. btw, i have the first gen stances before the GR+Pro's that are now cheaper than what i got mine for | |

| Sorry but im not thread jacking here but i thought id toss this in because i have been wondering about this and wanted to see if maybe a few of you guys might have something to say. I am just starting out and arent that experienced and dont think i need something so expensive. I have been referred to the Stance suspension by friends of friends that say they are real good. They sure do look BEEFY! Ive heard about KTS at SPLracing i believe. Now i dont know much else but i was thinking about something from K-Sport or Megan Racing. Something like F/R 8kg/6kg. These cost less, use a mono-tube design and would probably get the job done, they even include the same adjustments(to a certain extent). Take into consideration i dont need a fully stiff race like suspension as this would be a street car. Id like alittle bit of a softer ride when going over road abnormalities. Ive heard good things about all of these but what are your opinions on this? | |

| SHit......our first cliche coilover thread. I hate to do this but the topic has been covered a million times. You guys need to search for info. Theres countless threads about this. The topic of Stance vs. KTS has been argued many times over. It all depends on who you ask. I have experience with neither, but hear nothing but great things about both. As far as Megan and Ksport go. I hear very good things about Megans in relation to their price. They go very low, damping is decent enough for the money, last long enough. Only thing is they seem to have a problem with the adjustment knob feeling vague and not clicking. Ksport i have read many mixed reviews about from very good to very, very bad. Ill let our own local drivers chime in. Kidynomite, DC2_lsvtec,Eric, and a couple others on this forum have stance. Timur has Ksport's. Well hear their opinions. | |

| Stance all the way. I swear ive never seen coilovers that are as big as stance. They are huge. And there is absolutly ZERO body role with those fuckers on. | |

| LOL^ Yea, I know, I've searched and read a lot and that's where my problem comes from, I just cant decide. I've read that they both will be good for daily driving and they both preform awesome. Maybe something you guys say will make me lean towards one more. Mite have to come down to a coin toss but Stance is local so that's a plus. I think my neighbor had a set of Stance('s) on his STI, I'm hitting myself in the balls for not asking him for like a ride, lol Thanks for the info/help. If anyone else wants to chime in with more, that would be great. | |

| O, also, correct me if I'm wrong but is the only difference with the GR+ Pro Model is they come with the new Rear Lower Brackets and Traction Springs? Cuz a $100 more, they sound pretty good. | |

| i dont know about others, but the STANCE can be dissassembled and rebuilt on an individual part basis. so say a collar gets cross threaded, bring it back to Touge Factory/Stance and they can order you a new collar.
when i bought coilovers, it was between the SilkRoad RM-A8 coilovers. they are very similar and i was reading review after review between the two. i ended up choosing the STANCE for the fact that can be rebuilt in the US (in IL actually) and i wont have to wait weeks as parts are shipped overseas. deffinately a huge plus right there.

| Yea, I think Stance will be my choice, I mean everyone seems happy with them, they are in IL and touge factory is where I plan to get my swap done so I can pick them up and save a little on shipping. | |
