| ok guys this is whats up. I get out of work today and start my car and it runs fine till i get down the block and it starts shaking. It still ran ok just sounded like a subaru and was really slow. I figured it was a injector so i started unplugging them...I unplug no.1 cylinder injector and nothing changes...so i figure it has to be bad. I go home and put in a new injector and the car runs great and has power. I go out for a little cruise and i stop for a snack...when i go to start my car again the same sputtering and subaru sound i had before comes back. I unplug the new injector and nothing changes car still runs the same. i am thinking wtf. I also unplugged the spark plug wire from this cylinder and nothing changes, if i unplug other ones it does, the car also backfires like crazy now so now i am totally lost...any help here would be great btw car is a 91 s13 with a dual cam ka | |

| it may be the spark plug not the injector. | |

| Also if the plugs are newer make sure your gap is right. Most spark plugs come pre-gapped but my brother and i have often found they are wrong. | |

| and if not the plugs, check your wires. swap wires between cylinders to see if the misfire changes cylinders, if the wires reach. otherwise just ohm them out to test them. | |

| Ok well you said when you replaced the injector it ran smooth for a while then started with the same problem. You more than likely didn't lube up the o-rings well enough when installing the injector and thus tore or damaged the o ring and now that injector is leaking. I had this issue before as well. You probably fouled out the plug in that cylinder but your injectors probably still fine just hit up autozone and get a new o-ring they have them in assortments behind the counter... lube the hell out of the o-ring before installing into the rail i used oil and it worked fine. | |

| hahaha don't get insulted... maybe because an o-ring is like what 25 cents is what i payed for mine. if even that. that way you can get a couple of them since apparently you aren't exactly pro at installing injectors hah. just messing around man | |
