350z track edition brembo on s13?

i just got the calipers and rotors starting on swapping them over tonight. but i kinda run into some trouble. the 350z's knuckles are 14mm versus the stock s13 12mm. i ran into some trouble drilling them out. the cast steel or whatever is really kicking my ass. i have broken like 3 bits trying to bore one of the caliper mounting holes? any ideas?

i think your supposed to use a seperate bracket. im sure there are write ups for this

nah no brackets. same mounting points. how larger holes but i went home on my lunch with a new bit. its a "cobalt" bit. 9/16. but yeah i got everything to bolt up just gotta bleed the system. i got photos if anyone is interested?

this is a pic from a couple of months ago...it was monster truck 4x4 status but i have been doing smalls things here and there but this is how it sits until this weekend also i am waitin on my fourth volk

Finally, a new member with something to actually contribute.

the rotors are 12.75. 30mm thick aswell so its a decent set up. i wanted a set of bigger brakes but didnt want to deal with aftermarket. in the future these can be rebuilt back to oem standards....but the volks measure 18x10.5 puls 15 all round. i am leaning towards just running them in the back for now. the volks are lighter than my 5zigens but i kinda like the stagger. i dont think i really have anything more to contribute but i know how to get by i guess?

yeah they more or less bolt right up. like i mentioned you have to bore out the caliper mounting holes to 14mm since the bolts are 14mm cause they went bigger on the 350z. also the knuckle itself is thicker so you either have to get new bolts or stack so spacers. oh yeah you'll need 300zx conversion lines. but other than that you use all the 350z parts ie rotors pads and what not

yeah i knew you would need that stuff i just always thought you would have to get spacers machined like when people use the evo calipers.
