| I have problem with my ka24de. It is running extremely rich. I have tested all of the injectors. They all ohm out at 11-14 which is spec. I have also tested them for power. Again all have batt. voltage with the car running and in the run position. I have also checked for continuity of the wires, check the wires going to the injectors from the firewall. Also with the car running I can pull the #2 injector and it doesnt change, however when i pull the other 3 it runs worse. Same goes with pulling the plug wires. #2 no change other 3 change. I have checked the ECM for power to the injectors. All good. I have brand new spark plugs, injectors, pump and filter. I am thinking that it is the ECM a fault, but don't want to call it with out asking some one else. Any help would be greatly appreciated. | |

| So lemme get this straight you tested all injectors and they within spec, but when you pull the plug on #2 injector wire to the spark, the idle doesn't change. Sounds like #2 is stuck in open mode. And with injector #2 stuck in open mode, all that fuel probably fouled the plug. You probably have to change the injector and spark out, had the same thing happen to me just before winter. | |

| The injectors are new and the spark plugs are new. I will swap two of the injectors around and see if the problem moves, and I will let you know what happened. Thanks for the help. | |

| Swapped injectors and the problem moved. Went to Advance to get a new injector, put it in and so far so good. I need to put some more gas in my car. Thanks for the help guys. When I bought the car my friend said that he replaced all of the injectors, so I didnt even think about it being bad. Must have got a defective one out of the box. Again seems to be good now. Thanks again!! | |

| Is it in 1 cylinder or all of them? If it is in all of them, then I would say check the o2's and the MAF, FPR....ect. Something that could effect the entire system. If it is in just one of the cylinders then it could be a bad injector(Thats what happen to me), spark pug, wire, ect. You should have batt. voltage at the injector with it in run position, you should also have 11-14 ohms resistance per injector. | |

| how do you know you are running rich? a long time ago i thought the same thing.. i realized the o-ring on one of my injectors was ripped. so i was leaking gas. which made my car reek of gas | |

| If i let it idle for a couple minutes or move from a red light, a puff of black smoke comes out of the back and it smells like a rich a/f... its not oil for sure...and i will look into the ripped o-ring right now, because the car seriously smells like gas, its hard to drive | |
