Any dsm haters? lol!

Whats up everyone?

My name is Brad and i drive a 2ga GS.
I'm 240nut(Robs) brother.


Thought I would join just for the hell of it and get harassed by everyone lol.

Some mod's done to the car consist of.
Full exhaust (headers back)
Wally 255 fuel pump
Intake
2gb GSX wheels
And some other interior touches. Boost gauge, Sub in the back, Some lights.

Overall car is decent for being as old as it is. I try to keep her looking good.

Some future plans with the car are going to happen pretty soon. I plan on boosting the 420a. Set up will be a t3, maybe t3/t4 turbo 50 trim of course, .48a/r Not sure on what brand most likely turbonetics or garrett.

Right now I have a lot of parts for the build in my room lol. I have intercooler, piping, wastegate, fmu, and a bunch of other crap. Pretty much all i need is the turbo itself and some oil lines and vacuum lines.

So im shooting for about a month or two from now at most to have the build done.

These are with the old rims that i painted myself black with a red lip. They looked pretty good...until i hit a curb doing about 25. lol

how come no one does these right? slam it and put good fitting wheels on it. too many people leave the 4x4 height and paints the stock wheels...

i personally think DSM's are junk though.

The engines SUCK!

My friend has a 98 GSX (only excuse to own a Eclipse is getting a AWD GSX)and that thing broke down SO much.

His was slammed with evo wheels....

Body was like an inch from the ground, but the bumper was all messed up cause he daily drove it.

I will slam the car down a bit eventually. Right now comes the build.

The rims are 17's and are from the factory. I personally like to keep the outside appearance looking like it came out of the factory. I'm not all that much into outside looks but its just me.

I know everyone has there opinions though.


And don't get the gs and gst/gsx all mixed up.

GS/RS dsm's have the 420a motor where as gst and gsx have the 4g63.

Sure the 4g63's have more power. But reliability is a little less unless you build it properly.

And a lot of the 7bolt motors are the ones that go to hell. But that's all a myth. All 2g's have the 7bolt 4g63's and 1g's have the 6 bolts. Some of the 7bolts had an issue and did the famous "crank walk" lol

my buddy is building one of those funky motors in his starion. He's got a block out of mightymax and some weird mitsubishi swap-a-voodoo. I guess they're OK, but I still like his original 2.6L 4 banger more.
