I'm probably going to scratch the headers, my setups loud as it is and will probably use the cash on a E.C.V. instead, haha.

Well I had this planned for a while and already written up, it'll probably be some time before I can piece everything together again, I had a good amount of the parts already, but well you know already.

Its been discussed on Ka-T.org milleonz of times. If its not broken don't fix it basically. Theres Ka's running over 500whp on stock internals and barely a factory rebuild. Factory rebuild adds reliablility just as aftermarket bottom end really does. Shotpeened Rods are just as reliable as aftermarket, although pistons I'm still up in the air about at the moment, maybe maybe not.

One good point was if you end up blowing a rod later down the line and you bought pistons and rods, there goes a grand rolling down the street right there and then you have to rebuy them again, 2k. You ever seen an OEM rod that was blown out of a Ka block? It bends as they're supposed to do... Aftermarkets are to add strength and durability really, but it already has that, so its not really neccisary and is extra money that can pay for my cams and tuning....

Setup could easily make 350whp, which is my goal.

I've blown a rod out the side of my KA on stock rods and arias pistons.

Managed to do it a couple blocks away from my house so I was able to roll it right up into my driveway haha

Lol, lil engine that could. No matter the setup it could blow at any time, and if I'm runnin' what I'd like on OEM Rebuild, theres no sense on spending the extra money, or taking the extra risk of needing to spend more money.
