| Just an idea,
I'm thinking about just doing some sidework out of my garage.
Things i could do would be.
Mechanical Engine swaps Possible engine builds 5-speed swaps Trans swaps Clutch swaps
Suspension: Coils and strut/spring combos Possible Energy suspension bushings Strut bars/sway bars Brakes/rotors
Install: Radios Amplifiers Subwoofers Most Electrical stuff
Interior: Gauges, steering wheel swaps, most interior shit
Diff swaps (lsd, welded etc.)
Also i may be able to offer powder coating and sandblasting.
Just looking to help out local 240 owners.
If enough intrest, i can get some prices on stuff.

| The tire-rod ends come w/ the ball joints IIRC.
AS for the wheel bearings, i'm pretty sure you need a press and it's not something we could do.
Unless your talking about the control arm ball joint.

| i think he meant the balljoint that is on lower control arm, balljoints and tie rods are both attached to the steering knuckle... and they are both easy to change, well maybe balljoints will be alittle harder...and as for wheel bearing u will need to press it in there... but u can go to autozone or murrays and rent out the tool for it... | |

loll... ur starting to take away from the business... Hey, like i said me and kev are jsut here to try to help people. We've had alot of experience w/ all of this. Sure everyone could do their own work if they wanted to. And for stuff like wheel bearings, we obvioulsy cant do because we dont have a press. Paying $20 is a great deal then to have someone else do it.

| Okay, question, how much for a half done manual swap, the pedals are installed all the parts are off, there is no pilot bearing in, You just need to put in the pilot bearing, the clutch, the flywheel, and the transmission in, the rest like the clutch shit, and the driveshaft Ill find time for. The thing is that I just cant put the pilot bearing in and I broke 3 already cause they don't fit, and Ive tried the freezer trick, just no time... | |
