yeah, sounded stupid, but the block was in the middle of assembly at Land-Air Associates but had to take it from the shop cuz i couldn't find a ka24de head to finish the rebuild. the block was honed and hot-tanked, bored out to accomodate the CP pistons, and installed along with Eagle rods. the crank journals were refinished before assembly and used calico engine bearings. i have all the oem parts to finish the rebuild, but still don't have the head. pm me if you're interested. -Paul | |
