[ynot]'s winter project s13 build

so i finally decided on a 240sx 2 buy. i went to go look at a 90 240sx hatch. payed for it this weekend and gonna pick it up next weekend i gotta get my friends trailor. its red not much rust at all!!! body and paint are mint. frame rails are really clean with the acception of a little surface rust on the rear driverside nothing bad a little wire brushing would do it fine. also a little hole about the size of a golf ball in the passenger side floor board.there was some in the shock towers but they are already repaired from previous owner.

i have many plans for this car as it is winter and i will get alot done as long as i dont run into money problems.

list for winter
-wire brush full undercairrage and spray a light coat of ruber based addhesive spary to prevent future rust.
-manual conversion (currently automatic)
-50mm wide body rear quarter panels
-full aero(nothing too big or crazy lol)
-sunbaked gold mettalic or jet black paintjob (garage paint job lol)
-some kind of suspension for a nice drop (undecided.. ideas??)
-sportmax's in a 15" and really drop it haha (i want super advans in the future)
-ca18det swap (if i dont have funds for ca probably just a dual cam so i can pull out for summer)

these are the BIG plans for now but will probably change alot lol here are some pics of it still at the guys house will post up more recent picks when it gets 2 my house next weekend. il keep you guys posted with the build throughout winter

how much for the ca long block?? im interested but not gonna be able to buy til i can sell my bmw and i dont know how long thats gonna take...

block is bored 1mm over, decked, hot tanked
tomei forged turbo pistons CA18DET (1mm overbore)
full rotating assembly balanced and blueprinted
crank polished
complete new gasket and seal set
ARP head studs
brand new oil pump from courtesy nissan

there are some other goodies in there but its been so long i dont remember

motor is not assembled so you will be able to check everything out for yourself.

the pistons alone are worth $1,000 if you buy them from tomei...

ic ic well let me c if i can make a quick sell on my bimmer and i will keep in touch with you and let you know if i will have the funds... is it a complete longblock engine meaning nothing missing?? all turbo components are there??

nope, oil pan, valve covers and everything in between is included

externals like manifolds and brackets, PS, ALT, engine mounts etc may or may not be there. i would not count on it. i know some stuff is there, but others arent. no wiring, clutch flywheel, etc.

i do have a SS top mount turbo manifold that will be included though.
