| rivet on a piece of sheet metal, then get aero to cover it lol
fiberglassing upwards on a large hole wont work to well the middle will sag and your material will not be able to hold its own weight and fall straight to the floor
you could even rivet it and leave it with no aero it wont look to bad..

| well i dont know about "more the better" but i would say if ur gonna mess with it yourself, use bondo for the simple fact that (based on what iv seen) fiberglass will crack alot faster. i guess it also depends on where its at so whatever. | |

| Fiberglass is very good, but only on areas that dont see that such movement or vibration, as for riveting the sheet metal not very good, might as well do it corect the first time, get it properly welded on, then a bit of bondo to smooth it out, you will spend a bit more but it will look good as new. | |

| This spot is on the door?
Find a clean door. By far the easiest solution.

just seems like the dude was trying to do it him self, and a simple fix. i figure if he knew how to weld, he wouldnt ask. the sheet metal riveted on wouldnt be a problem as long as he sealed it and painted it. im sure a body shop would charge at least 500 depending on how much needed to be formed welded and smoothed.. (this is assuming he meant the rockers and not the doors if its a door just get a new one)

| I dont know id say if ya prep the surface right and its clean fiberglass would be beter. IF it sags iin the middle add another layer of fiber glass then sand down then add some bondo ti smooth it out beter. Its worked for me. | |
