| So I'm thinking about primering my car black in the next few weeks. I'm not much of a painter, and I'd like it to turn out nice, so I was looking to see if anyone would be down to give me a hand with primering. Chipoltle burrito included. | |

| You have primering experience though? I'd like it to look as good as a rattle-can paintjob can. | |

| rattle cans almost always look bad.. find some one with a gun, prep it yourself/ have some one help you sand it a friend or whoever is free, buy the primer you want and make some one an offer.. a person not an actual shop shouldnt be too expensive at all | |

| For sure Matt. I know it's a rare color, but I mean the paint is in rough condition. After the winter it'll be worse. Oxidation has started, chips all around, and black primered coupes are badass. | |

| werd primer is lame, all you need to do is give it a good wash and wax. the paint will look so much better. shit. my mr2 when i first got it was pink. yes thats right...pink! after i waxed her she was red again. hell my s13 was faded as fuck when i first got it. again waxed it and it looked almost like new...aside from the rust lol heres a comparison with my s13 from when i first got it to a few weeks before i sold it... before: after: | |

| Alright, I'll wax it up and wash before I make a decision. Maybe I'll like it more lowered on the coils. | |
