| check to see if there is any fluid in the master cylinder, if no then it was your slave cylinder, 2 bolts and a threaded line, takes about 15 minutes to change and bleed. like D*star said, 17$

| We replaced the slave cylinder which apparently was leaking and bled it multiple times. Not resolved though so I believe we're going to replace the master cylinder next. | |

if you have stock loop - your clutch is going to be a bitch to bleed. I bet that you still didn't get all the air out.

| easy to bleed, my dad took apart the master and cleaned it but he's getting a rebuild kit now. which apparently is hard to find, but he found one. not sure why he didn't just have us get a new one. so master is being rebuilt and put back tomorrow. | |

| theres a 99.99999999 percent chance you popped a spring on the clutch disk and its now lodged between the disk and pressure plate if you need help fixing it lemme know ill do it cheap | |

| i actually have Stance GR+ Pro on my fastback and i love them, in my opinion they are great if you like to hang some turns or the occasional drift, but if you just essentially want a decent daily then just find some decent struts and springs for cheap but if you get the coil overs you will not be disappointed | |

| I never post here, and I didn't read anything anyone wrote, but coilovers are cool because you can lower your car a whole lot without completely and totally handling like shit.
A standard damper is typically not designed to work at any ride height that anyone would consider "cool" and so handles like poo when lowered to the correct height. The cost to buy a damper that is designed to work in that range of travel is high enough to justify a coilover purchase.
If you're at a really good looking height, your car will still handle like shit, but less so with coilovers than just with shocks and springs.

actually you're wrong. Although you got the right idea. damper is designed for suspension travel (ie 5in of travel) you can move it up and down all you want. what makes it "cool" or 4x4 ride height, is the mounting. Since most coilovers out there change the ride height independent of shock travel, as well as give you option to put some preload/slack on your springs. That dual adjustability allows you to have "cool" ride height. Most of the dampers themselves are garbage, thats why people say it won't handle well, etc. Look up Wiisass's posts about suspension tuning.

On what basis did you make that decision? At what point did you decide that was more probable than a slave cylinder that she/he didnt bleed correctly after install due to damper box still being there? And what the fuck is all this suspension Geometry talk? Did i hit the wrong button and end up on Scirroco forum?

| you guys have no idea how to set up suspension, heres a quick lesson in geometry. take notes 1)dump it as far as you can go without dragging aero and still being able to turn, 2)put as much camber in as it takes to fit your wheels inside the fenders. 3)be awesome. if you guys need anymore advice on suspension tuning just PM me | |

| or you can dump it and later correct the angles of the suspension you just fucked up.
doesnt take much. RCA's, some aftermarket tie rod ends have a spacer thing to compensate for lowered cars, etc. it will allow a more full range of suspension (control arm and tie rod arcs and such)
anyway... | |
