| hey i just want to know what the helper spring dose, and if they are removeable maby to go lower but i dont wanna mess anything up, i looked online and dident find any real awnsers so can i get some help ?? | |

| u can take it out if u want..... its supposed to obsorb some of the impact before the bigger and much stiffer spring does..... itll make the ride stiffer, but ur not gonna die if u remove it. | |

| If you remove it, you'll be able to get your car lower, as ^^^ said. If it's a true helper spring, the rate should be really low, and it's basically there to keep the main spring from flopping around under droop. If it's a tender spring, it will have a bit higher rate that actually contributes somewhat to the overall spring rate and can help get more usable droop travel.
