| The car is a 1989 Nissan 240sx hatch that I picked up in Mississippi. This car is very, very clean and has NO RUST on it even underneath. It was about 120 miles from the Gulf of Mexico. The car has always been stored in the winter only driven a few times in the rain. There is no rear interior, headliner, or carpet in the car because I wanted to make it as light as I could without cutting on the car. I pulled the blown engine and put in a redtop sr20det. It is a newer redtop though because it has the small fins on the head. I installed a cometic metal head gasket, arp head studs, rocker arm stoppers, water pump, thermostat, rear main seal, crank seal, new oil pan and pickup, rebuilt starter and alternator, and all new gaskets just because I wanted to be sure I had a good reliable engine. Other things I did was a 300zx fuel filter, walbro 255lph fuel pump, all rubber fuel lines were replaced with high pressure fuel line rated for 350psi, oil filled fuel pressure gauge, nismo fuel pressure regulator, a very clean used gas tank replaced the original one, godspeed front mount intercooler kit, enjuku racing hotpipe with hks ssqv bov, jgy underdrive crank pulley, manual boost controller, b&m short shifter, Q45 front brakes, russell stainless braided brake lines, all calipers are remans that were purchased last year with metal master pads front and rear, cross drilled and slotted rotors front and rear, brake master cylinder with nissan fluid container, brake booster, dohc steering line conversion, dohc gauge cluster with all blue LED bulbs, stainless braided line from clutch master to slave cylinder, clutch slave cylinder, clutch master cylinder, megan racing street series coilovers, 17x7 BSA Wheels, Front tires are Nitto Invo 225/45/17, Rear are Nitto NT01 225/45/17, good used black dash and door panels, brand new heater core from Nissan because I wanted to change it while the dash was out, Corbeau FX1 Pro fiberglass seats, Nagasi low mount seat brackets(same as the Bride ones), Schroth harnesses, DG harness bar, project nissan front and rear strut bar, open cone air filter, RSR GT2 cat-back exhaust, project nissan downpipe, greddy turbo outlet pipe, cat-delete pipe, DME cooling panel, R32 vlsd and axles with 4.41 gears, Sony head unit, 4 phoenix gold 4x6's, rust free hatch, spec stage 2 clutch kit, AEM UEGO wideband gauge, Autometer boost gauge, 300zx radiator cap, koyo radiator, electric fan, and car cover. I only ran royal purple oil in it and changed it every summer. I only put on about 750 miles a year. Royal purple gear lube in the differential, and Redline full synthetic trans fluid in the transmission. The new tires and coilovers have less than 150 miles on them. I was going to paint the car daytona blue which is 350z blue so I did the engine bay while I had the motor out it has 4 coats of clear on it. Also the base coat on the enine compartment was down with DP50. This is a very quick car. I have never taken it to the track though. My friend has a new Pontiac GTO with the 400 hp 6.0L corvette engine. We raced from a stop light to 60mph and I had him by 2 car lengths and we starting to pull away from him more. I am selling the car because I need money for school. $8000 OBO 815-276-4286 I have many more pics if interested. | |

$8000 OBO 815-276-4286 8 grand for a car thats mismatched, weak sized wheels, crappy low end coilovers, and no aero! youre fucking crazy. better rethink your price. edgar is selling a way better car for only 1500 more. look at this car and see if your car is worth anywhere near it https://chicagoarea240sx.editboard.com/the-marketplace-f9/fs-the-dstar-car-t2042.htmid ask around 5.5k obo personally. | I didn't know what to ask but for the car and this is what I was suggested to try it for from a number of people. Also it is OBO and I am willing to take less. As for the mismatch comment the only thing that is mismatched on it is the hatch and engine. Its not like the car was pieced together. It is very clean and anyone that looks at it in person will realize that. Also your so called price is just funny of 5.5K obo. Ive seen rusty stock sr swaps sell for 4.5K. So I would think the rust free part and all the extras it has would bring a little more than $1000. But thats just me. I believe this is in the sticky for the marketplace here. Sure I know your an admin. so it doesn't really matter but there is no need for you to express your opinion especially since you have never even seen the car. I am not trying to be a d**k about this Im just saying that your comment is unnecessary. 6. No idle conversation. If you want to say something good about the seller on high dollar items (car's, motorswaps, wheels) thats fine. | |
