| I know you can run the exhaust cam from a DOHC for some more aggresive lobe, but other than that i think only JWT makes an aftermarket cam for the single. | |

| Im not too familiar with them. I never really wanted to modify my sohc. Fuck that. No power anyway, just kept it running good enough to slide every night. | |

I have to admit the difference in my able to link shit with the extra 20-30 hp was insane. Was like night and day for me. But i am SO fucking glad i learned with 90whp. Haha. Made me develop all the other styles. Now with power its insane. People that start off learning WITH power enter soooooooooooooooooo fucking slow and sissy and tehn just mash. Entry or nothing. Sorry for off topic.

| you wont hit 250hp with just a cam on a sohc.
money would be better spend on a turbo setup

| Youll never ever hit even 200 on a sohc with NA. Even Nissans own Race KA's barely hit 200 with like 10 grand dumped into them. Gonna have to turbo. Just leave it bolt on. Intake, header, test pipe, exhaust. Whatver. Itll get out of its own way. | |

| Yeah D*star would get down on some single cam slam action, and as far as getting 200hp out of the single slam, well good luck.... Either way, it was said before, do bolt-on's and you'll get by....just fine. | |
