| So anyway, I pulled the KA out of my car today. Had some help from my friend Nick and It went pretty smooth.
One thing though is that I couldn't get the engine harness out without moving the ABS pump and all the shit that went along with it. And even after moving it out of the way successfully, I decided to delete the ABS. So I cut all the brake lines to it and will figure it out later. I do need a new master cylinder to make it work though. Yay. lol.
Another annoying part was the driveshaft. I tried to separate the two parts of the yoke on the transmission end but had no luck. So I had to just pull the whole thing out and drain all the fluid. It was pretty sweet.
Another thing is that a super-hicas car has a TON more dumb stuff to strip out of the engine bay. Oh well though, It was worth having the clean as fuck chassis.
I don't have pics of the progress cause I didn't take my camera but I will get them soon enough.
So yeah.... I'm glad my project has finally started. Even though its going to take a lot longer than I thought. | |
