| what state is it legal in? and what are all the technicalities of the legalization? there are a lot of questions to ask the seller before thinking about buying the car. | |

| I would buy it regardless. IF you got the cash that is. You can always go to the junkyard and pick up a S13 or something with title and change the VIN tags on the dash. The chances of you running into trouble are slim to none. Plus, authorities wouldn't know the difference anyway.

DOOO EEET!!! they do know the difference. cops are much smarter than you think. and they check vins. simba ran into a problem when he swapped a door and the dash from his old car into his current one without filling out paper work or something about it. a cop pulled him over for no front bumper and found this. his car was impounded and he had to pay a bunch of money to get it back. the only good thing the s15 would be good for is a car that is trailered to car shows and track events, seeing as you more than likely wont be able to drive it on the street legally.

| Wow you guys. dont go all crazy on me. I guess IL cops check that type of shit. But up here in Beloit where I live, they wouldn't know the difference. Nor would they bother to check in the first place. | |

| well i have been pulled over in my car without a title in chicago a few times, like right after HIN last year. i had no vins no title etc.. just the plates from my old s14 240sx. he gave me a 30 day fix it ticket and let me go lol.
not to say that its a good idea, just saying sometimes its just the cop you deal with and how far they want to take it.
that being said, buy it and dont drive it on the street. even if it were untitled, you can get it titled and its still a good price for it.
