| Byron Dragway Located in Byron, IL about 11 miles southwest of Rockford, IL, off of Rt 72, $25 to run, and $15 to watch. Byron has IHRA rules and regulations. So for a quick run thru. No open toe shoes, pants are required, t-shirts are ok till you start getting into the 11s, a helmet is required if you car is 13.99 or quicker, car needs a roll cage if you car is 11.99 or quicker, speed limit in the pits is 5 - 10mph, no half assed body work, meaning no bodykits being held with zipties, no leaking oil or any fluid of some sort, if you batter is located in the trunk, it must be in a battery box, go around the burnout box if you are not going to use it. These rules go the same for Greatlakes.
As for Joliet, they are tech nazis there, good luck trying to pass their techs, plus they don't have much test n tune days, and some days on T&T, you have a stamp card and get only 3 runs.
There is Cordova, border of Illinois and Iowa. A good 2 hour drive from Chicago. A few miles north of the QuadCites, not sure on pricing tho. Pretty much the same rules as Greatlakes and Byron. Not sure on pricing tho since I ran my car for free when I tested one of Autometer products there.
US 41 Dragway, located in Morocco, IL, about 70 miles southeast of Chicago. Here is the address of the track. US 41 Dragway 2695 West 50 South Morocco, IN 47963 Pretty much the same rules as the above tracks.
I've been to all of these tracks and including Greatlakes and ran my car on these so if you have any questions regarding these tracks let me know.

These are pretty much rules anywhere. And if you find a racetrack that doesn't require pants - I'm going!!!! LMAO
