Marketplace rules/guidelines FUCKING READ THIS SHIT FIRST!!

*** These rules and guidelines can be changed at anytime. We are sill not responsible for transactions. We are only a means to get your product out for people to see. ***

Please take a few moments to look over this small list of rules/guidelines so you know whats going on here. We realize that our old system was a bit flawed, so we made up a new set of more specific rules. Please, for the sake of all the members read and follow these simple rules/guidelines.
If these rules aren't met your threads/posts will be locked and/or deleted.

1.Make an attempt to introduce yourself before making a FS or WTB ad. THIS ISNT FUCKING CRAIGSLIST MOTHERFUCKERS. This is a members only based forum, non-members/posters can get fucked on using our marketplace. Posts will be modified/locked/deleted.

2. Do not hot link to ebay, craigslist, etc for threads or pictures. If you don't have pictures yet, don't post. Don't make a thread saying "I'll have pictures soon" or "email for pics" because these will be deleted.

3. ADD FS: or WTB: in your title. Please try to give a good description of what you are wanting or selling in your title and follow up with a very specific explanation of what you want in your post and please try to post good pictures (www.photobucket.com , www.imageshack.com , etc.)
3.a If selling wheels have the make/model/size/offset/pcd in the title. (example: Gramlights 57pro's 17x9 +15 5x114.3)
3.b If selling car, put year/make/model/trim in the title.
3.c In threads, note any damage and document with clear pictures if at all possible.
3.d If selling parts, note if they are for S13, S14, ect. in the title

4. No price police

5. No threadjacking. If you threadjack your post will be deleted.

6. No idle conversation. If you want to say something good about the seller on high dollar items (car's, motorswaps, wheels) thats fine.

7. Please don't bump your post every other day. If excessive bumping occurs, threads will be locked.

8. All commercial or group buy posts must be cleared by one of our 2 admin's.

9. Any and all sales are assumed "as is" with no warrenty unless specified by the seller.

10. You MUST post an asking price clearly.

For anyone who doesn't know how to post pictures- ---[ img ]www.yourpicturelinkhere.com[ /img ]--- (get rid of spaces between brackets).

Few other little things:
We would appreciate it if you would take the time to edit your posts when pending/sold.
Please keep good communication when working deals. It makes things so much nicer and easier. It only takes a couple seconds to send a private message or reply to a post.
Finally, take care of other members by spotting cheats/theives/liers/etc. If you believe someone is a scammer, please send a PM to any of the staff so we can keep an eye on it and help as soon as possible. Chicago Area 240sx is not responsible for these transactions. We are just a medium to which buyers and sellers alike can get together. If you get jacked, please attempt to work things out, but let one of the Chicago 240 staff know what is going on and if/when the issue is resolved. Again, we are not responsible, but we would like to try to make this forum as safe as we can for our members.
