| So I've been asking people what it could be. Rated240R, TFDave, and an Exedy clutch department representative all say that I have to adjust my clutch pedal from inside the car. I know there are tons of tutorials online on how to do this, but I'm just not getting it. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think this is what I'm supposed to adjust. Right now my friction point is a centimeter away from the top. The guy at Exedy said I need to make the friction point about an inch away from the floor. What would I have to shorten or lengthen to lower the friction point? If anyone could MS paint me some arrows with a description, that would be great! Thanks, Andrew | |

| look right behind the threads - see that little "dent" thats where to turn the rod, but loosen up the nut first.
Common sense - if you make it shorter - pedal will have to travel MORE
C'mon Andrew - You're smarter than Ty, you shouldn't have issues like this!!!!!

| Ok Andrew, I know I talked to you on the phone and tried to explain it but sometimes it's better to actually see it! 1. Loosen the bolt 2. Remove the clip 3. Remove the pin holding it to the pedal 4. Adjust by turning this piece only, not the actaul rod (clockwise I believe) till it is closer to the firewall. 5. Put it back and test your clutch engagement 6. Once you get the correct engagement, put it all back together and tighten everything up. Hope this helps!

Hope this helps! Wrong!..don't say anything about removing all that crap in the fsm. The master cylinder rod is sposed to turn. This is how I adjust it for my car: 1) loosen the bolt 2) turn the rod to suit 3) tighthen the bolt, dun

| OK...what I said wasn't wrong. It's just the way "I" do it! Besides, turning that rod in a limited amount of space is time consuming. Either way, it still gets done. Just faster MY way! | |

| you see how there is that little flat bit on the rod there angel my boy?
that's where a 8mm [if i remember correctly] wrench goes to turn the rod... which is so much easier then fighting the pin and all that shit. secondly when doing it your way you have to put everything back before you can even test to see if you got it right. my way [and the way of it seems everyone else on here] you just press the pedal and if it's wrong just turn the rod some more...
you're just back asswards

| All done, and all good! Thanks everyone!
By the way, a smaller Robo Grip works great for turning that damn rod. It sucks for everything else though. LOL!
Just wondering though...Is it normal/healthy for the clutch pedal to be significantly lower than the brake pedal?
