| So I just got this... Yes the safc-2 is finally in my hands and I checked the diagram and it seems quite overwhelming. If anyone has experience and would like to eat a free lunch let me know. | |

| It's not that difficult. If you haven't done so already download yourself a FSM, there' one for the S13 on Zeroyon.com. Take a look at the wiring engine control and wiring harness foldout.
The white wire pin 16 is the maf signal to the ECU. That wire gets cut. I prefer to put bullet connectors on so that the wiring can be changed back to origonal. The white wire going to the ecu connects to the maf output of the afc. The white wire going to the maf connects to the maf input of the afc.
The afc just reads the signal from the knock sensor, pin 27, so yo don 't have to cut that wire. I did but soldered the connection back together.
Similar thing for the rpm sensor, the yellow wire with red stripe pin 3. I cut it and then soldered all three wires together.
Again the same thing for the throttle position sensor, white wire pin 20. Cut it, and solder all three wires back together.
...I caint seem to find where switched power is on an S13 ecu...on second thought mabye you should get some help on this. | |
