Stripped stud bullshit. SOMEONE FUCKING HELP ME!

Okay so......my stud is stripped at the very bottom where you slam it into the hub.
So when you turn my lug nut the whole stud turns with it inside of the hub.
I tried drilling through that shit and thats a definite no go, went through the cap of the lug nut but didnt even dent the stud, then some redneck fuck tried to split the nut in half with a chisel and a deadblow hammer and fucked the shit out of my rim.
I have no fucking clue what else to try, my car is stuck in some lot for the second day in a row with a flat. Any ideas or previous experiences!?

Man, the only thing I would say you could do is get it up in the air. Then try to get the brake dust shield off, take a cutting torch and carefully burn out the stud maybe? I am not sure if that will work cuz I am not looking at it right now. But it may be your best bet.

Man, I dunno dude, first of all i dont have a torch, and its in a parking lot. I dont think the taking the dust shield off thing would work though because theres absolutely no room on the back, and i didnt see any bolts to take it off, well fuck i dont know man....jesus fuck.
THis sucks my ass.

If you can drill through the lug nut, try this:



drill on opposite sides of the lug nut so you drill it in half



Then, you can probably pull the two pieces out.

Cant go all the way in like that because then the threads of the stud and the walls of the lug nut hole in the wheel are in the way. But thanks for taking the time to draw that out man.

we had this happen in the shop not that long ago

go buy a CARBIDE [idk if that's how you spell it but that's how it sounds] drill bit that is the same diameter as the stud

then find a low speed high torque drill

then oil, lots and lots of WD-40

drill that bitch out while keeping the bit cool with oil

that should solve your problem

if the speed is to high the bit will burn itself rendering it useless

worked like a charm

you don't have to drill all the way into the hub, just deep enough that you clear the lug, then kick the shit out the wheel and it pops off

Cept my nut is frozen to my stud, the stud free spins, and the nut and stud are now welded as one.

Gotta get a big torch to cut it out. Fuck drilling.

Yah dude, EXACT same scenario. My lug was frozen to my stud as well. Torch really is the only way.
