PostSubject: SCHLOTTACH's build thread.   November 30th 2008, 1:15 am

so, after joining this forum a year ago. also seeing everyone elses build. i finally will post what i have so far.. (sorry for all the big pictures)

i used to have a red hatch that i put a blitz nur spec exhaust on, and kyb/sportline springs and few other things. sold it.
and then bought this coupe from chicago in sep of 07

it had stance gr+ coils, and a nismo 2 way and also a gp sports exhuast.

he said it was just loud because it needed oil...

had it for 3 weeks.. and the diff blew up on me. :/ someone didnt set the backlash right.

i put a open in it for a while. and all through the winter i didnt do anything to it.

after the winter i bought a brand new carbon fiber chargespeed seat from a friend who was too big for it Smile for a good price

and bought some sparco harnesses.. slammed the shit out of it for most of the spring. yea... lol

after having a slammed car for a while.. it didnt handle that great.. and so i couldnt figure out of i wanted to be able to handle the car better or have more power..

i basically spent a ton of money on all brand new parts. everything.
and i started piecing all my suspension parts. ( i didnt put all of them on all at the same time

on a full ichiba 5 lug,
suspension tech sway bars (bought from ben mich)
circuit sports toe arms
megan ruca/megan tension rods(ruca where on the car)
tein inner and outter tie rod/ends
300zx brakes front, new oem rears with ss lines and z32 master
all new rotors
hawk pads up front and generic pad in the rear
KAAZ 2 way lsd
new air filter
works bell hub with a nardi steering wheel & hello kitty horn
megan short throw
volk lugs
kazama rear subframe bushings
and got stock s14 wheels for the time..

then i didnt like the sound of the gp sports and i picked up a HKS hi power carbon ti exhaust can. and welded that thing on.

got the windows tinted. and this is how it sat for a while

PostSubject: continuing on..   November 30th 2008, 1:39 am

i got the brakes on.

pictures of the parts on the car

some of the interior

got a test fit of my buddys rpf1's

i then did the ordinary things, and bought a z32 fuel filter
and put a walbro 255 fuel pump in it.
changed the oil and filter, changed the spark plugs/wires
pressure washed the bay, and took most of the egr stuff off.
no charcoal canister and vaccum lines.

the motor looked like this..

then i mounted a optima red top in the back and made a little mount for it.

i bored and i made an intake with 3in aluminum pipe, and a 45 deg angle
and picked up some altima fans and put those one..
and it cleaned up the bay

PostSubject: and some more..   November 30th 2008, 2:11 am

after that, i picked up some meshies for a little autocross event..

and got kicked out becuase they said drifting isnt a sport, and i wasnt allowed to drift. :/

after that i picked up a innovate wideband lc-1 and db blue guage

and i had a defi egt guage in the pod to fill space lol ^_^

also picked up a apexi safc2 and a s14 seat
hmm... oh yea, rid of the s14 wheels, and picked up some 04 350z wheels.

oh and then i had to stop by the chicago area for one meet!

my friend had some evo rims that i put on for a while for shits and giggles.

and i tossed the hks frankenstien exhaust i made to get a buddy club spec 2

and i also picked up the 4point autopower cage from tougefactory.and mounted my harnesses correctly

the car handles like a beast..
i can take highway runs over 90.. lol i just need a sr so i can get there faster HA .

anyways, i then bought a wink 5 panel.. i saw one on a s14, and i thought it looked good..

so i thought. hey why not.

inside view..

outside..

gutted the rear.

put a rear strut bar/c-pillar bar again, for shits and giggles.

and other than that, this is how its been sitting more recently

thanks to kenny for the stickers Smile
