| hey progress engine bay is practically ready for paint. i just need turbo lines and gauges before the engine can go in. my friend satty is shaving and polishing my other valve cover so the fire engine red one is just temporary. then i need to assemble the oil cooler shit and get a new front mount and it will be ready to rock waiting on taka to get his new shipment of aero in before we can paint it. color has been chosen and purchased... sprayed some test panels as well but i'll keep that to myself for now. on a side note. anyone know an easy way to remove those gay rear seat/speaker braces? they look stupid and i want them OUT before we piant the interior.. oh yea and i need wheels... car wont leave the garage on the stock ones. |

| thanks i figured it was about time to start updating this thread finally got the car into my friends garage and have been working on it almost non stop. getting way sick of cars but it has to be done. but alas, spring break is coming to an end and i have to go back to school tomorrow. but while i'm gone josh is going to finish prepping the engine bay and painting it. i SHOULD have the turbo lines and junk before next weekend so i'll be able to finish assembling that. then i can put the engine back in. |

| word, i'm trying to figure it out attempt 1 was pry bar + hammer + big flat head screwdriver failed. i dont want to drill holes to get the spot welds out but that might be the only way. |

| do you have a hand grinder? _________________ Most of our projects focus on taking apart a perfectly good car and screwing it up. At least that's what the masses would think. In personalizing, customizing, and focusing our cars on performance above all else, we inevitably upset the delicate balance of ride and handling, horsepower and fuel economy, and perhaps even styling and anonymity that the OEM spent so many billions of dollars to achieve. Whatever, we think they're better.

| looking good. as for drilling out spot welds; use a large drill bit and go slow. it isnt that hard. i removed a battery tray and some random brackets that way in the past. _________________ (630)833-5050Origin | VS | STANCE | Function Form | Tein | Volk | Advan | Work | Bride and more! |
