Afliction523, time for a real paint job NO 56K

I finally was able to get some time to get the body work finshed up with a friend and his brothers. We blcoked the car back down to my primer which i had layed down previously when doing body work. Its been months and the car has been weathered on since I have started this. Here are some pics of the body work getting finished. The car will be sprayed with a 2 stage job. Black metallic base following the next stage of clear. Here are the pics from a few moths back up to what was done today. I should have finished pics of the car tomorrow with the paint on it.

I am due to the lack of time to remove everything. I rattlecanned them prior to this so there is black paint on the edges when i was building up the car in spring. We have another car that is coming in sunday for a buddy of mine and his is going to take up most of my friends brother's time since he works full time while being a full time student. My car should be finished and dry around midnight tonight if not by the time Im out of work tomorrow. I already painted the engine bay, and just have to do the door jams. The car was originally metalic grey.

Thanks for the positive comments guys. I will post pics tomorrow when I pick up the car after work. I just need some spacers to get rid of the sunkin battleship look next.

here are some pics...bad news is that the clear i got was bad, and fish eyed my hood so i got some dupont that was left over from a prior car. We were able to salvage the paint job with that clear. Three weeks from now its going back for the hood and some light fender work.....dont forget 1000grit wetsand and buff. Here you go for now only two pics would load.

For sure, my wheels suck dick but were free so i cant complain to much....I appreciate all the comments guys, and wet sanding is going to be a bitch with all that buffing

Thanks man, it looks a little different now. I have a MSD, and some silicone couplers for the intake. OOOO btw is ten times more dirty
