LED Guage Cluster

hey guys i just saw this on club240 and thought i might put it up here. Replace your stock guage cluster to an LED one.

did this a while back. kicks ass. use wide angle led's for even better lighting.

looks pretty cool. only thing is that i like my cluster lights off when i drive. if not off, then dimmed down to the lowest setting.

i'm not sure about a write up, but i do remember him posting pics of his gauge setup. either way.....good stuff.

do the leds come in diff colors? and if so are they any better?

i got a all amber interior light in my dash in my teg. looks pretty sweet

might want to do the same in my car, but i'll have to get it running 1st.

^i'm sure you could find them in any color if you look hard enough. i've seen blue, red, white, orange, yellow, purple..... just to name a few.

they have them in like EVERY color on ebay.

yeah i did them.

I did this over the stupid gauge overlay's because i didn't want some riced out white gauges w/ crappy blue lighting.


Cost like $15 i think for 4 of them.

I also did my gauge cause stock A/M bulbs blow.


My write up for this.

Take out like 8 screws from ur dash and disconnect the wiring harness in back of the cluster.

Find out the polarity on each side of the bulb to insure that u put them in right.

Put bubls in

Plug in harness's and put 8 screws back in.

dont buy white leds for superbrightleds.com looks like blue...lame

thats because its difficult to make true white LED. most are very faint blue that passes for white for most.
