Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but a Saturday anywhere along there will be impossible because of all the people HOARDING to the lake for picnics etc etc.
Here's what will happen when you guys get there- there will be no parking AT ALL. So you'll be forced to drive at 2mph behind 10 other cars looking for spots for a long long time just to find a spot- and you won't find it.
THAT'S IF THE POLICE DON'T CLOSE DOWN THE ENTRANCES TO GET TO THE PARKING DRIVE WHICH THEY DO REGULARLY!!!!

Why not do just bussie woods or something.

Any forest preserve will do in my opinion.

So where are we going so I can PTO at work. Bussie woods where a bunch of gay ass altimas are according to Jesse. That would work for me its only five minutes away haha.

if you all don't mind heading out my way there are a few good parks

there are NEVER any meets out here and no altima's on 20"s

the one park i am thinking of has a big enough parking lot that 100+ cars could show up and there would still be room

lemme know if you all are up for the drive [it's really not that far, about an hour out of chicago and a hour from rockford]

Dude, I'm with James. Keep the Niles meet tradition alive imo. Shit, I think its been at least 4 years since I've been there.

Its a nice area, not far from I-90, food down the street, area to BBQ, lots of parking, and its usually fairly empty.


Same date, but the park in Niles. I don't remember the name of the park though... but I still remember how to get there.


BTW, we could make a list of things for people to bring and have a BBQ. It has always worked out great in the past... besides for thoes damn mothers days meets where few people showed up

Paint is a luxury I have yet to afford. Flat black rusto that was baked on in the sun and half ass wet sanded will do for now. Also the hazing wax on the rough spots add style lol Im finishing the exhaust in the next two days, brakes will follow, then paint. I kind of wish I left the primer, but that was bad for rain and all the bodywork would go to hell....AGAIN

Any way back on subject Im down for the meet, so lets figure out a time and who is bringing what. Im sure I will be hungry. I can get some brats but we need to figure out who is all willing to go.
