| Hey everybody! Well I just bought a 1991 240sx fastback with a clean body no rust,dents or any major scratches for 2000 bucks. Car as 112K on it with a new Clutch and tires, i think i got a pretty good deal. Now for the fun part.
I sold my 2008 Subaru WRX for 16 thousand so my budget is pretty big on this build. For the summer time i plan on a nice drop with a nice wheel combo and maybe just a simple exhuast and intake for now. My BIGGER plans are a 6.0 LS1 swap, I already have the engine from newer GTO along with a T-56 trans. Ive gotten the drive shaft(might have to get another one), engine mounts, trans mounts from sikky.com. Now I'm looking for a rear end out of Q45 or I think i can use a 300zxTT end . To help assist with this build will be a local shop located in Bridgeview, but all this wont be taking place till next winter. Im just trying to get all the parts as i go and then i can do it all at once.
This isn't my first Nissan either. Ive owned two 300zx's. One was a NA and one was TT. Also its not my first time on messages boreds either. You can find me ChicagoZ, JDMC, Chicagoshift, Nicoclub, 3gWRX and NASIOC.

| hit up local shops first and support them. talk to iLLGarage and Touge Factory. Good people there with TONS of knowledge and they will steer ya in the right direction. But if you wanna go the website route, i have had great experiences with enjukuracing.com and 240sxmotoring.com
oh and welcome to the forum. these guys are ruthless. just take it in stride and dont be a pussy haha | |
