thanks in advance for help, I did use search but got not answer. I have a ka24de and I am having problems starting it, the starter works fine but takes about 1 minute to fire up car when its cold, when its warm it takes less time.. Im wondering if its a fuel pressure regulator problem or if anyone has had a similar problem, the car runs great when it starts? thanks again...

did you check basic stuff like compression, wires, and plugs? Probably check fuses and fuel pump pressure and if not any of that then it could be one of your sensors like the aac or some shit. but idk, im just throwing shit out there

I had the same problem, it turned out to be my battery. weird

when you say cold do you mean temp wise outside or the motor is "cold"?
like Tomy said, alot of starting issues related to outside temp. end up being the battery

im sorry what I meant was when the engine was cold.... It cranks fast it just doesnt pop off for about 45 seconds or so, but when the engine is still warm it fires right up?
