When you add preload dont you move the springs up, which in turn makes the car stiffer, as well as lowering it....

it does not lower it. it only puts a load on the springs. the height of the assembly does not get shorter (it actually gets longer if the spring was drooping before, raising the car)

When the springs are raised up, so is the collar, and then you can raise that bracket up, and that will LOWER the car...

I didnt explain it all the way I guess.

Raising the springs up higher allows you to raise everything else up, which in turn allows you to lower your car.

Thats what we had to do to Chris' car to get his a little lower.

fuck it...go buy shorter springs for the rear. call it a day

I believe he said his are shocks are bottomed out on the mount. So doing that would do nothing.

Ohh in that case I am sorry.

Try to find someone selling some used coilovers, and see if you can use their rear shocks on yours.

Really not happy with the rideheight here, last weekend I maxxed out the camber plates and lowered the front a bit more, I really want to lower it even more.. around 1". But I need to get off my ass and move the loom up front.

Car looks good. It will look way better when lower though. Stop being lazy haha
