Karting - 12/23/09 - MPGP

i thought these things were pretty fast?

There pretty quick...

it depends what your definition of quick is, but they are not slow.

Not as quick as those pro go carts, but not as slow as the ones you would see at a carnival or something like that.

It is worth going to though, its pretty fun.

the carts are fast, but have little torque, meaning accel and keeping a slide going save inertia is difficult

that said, last time i was there i was connecting corners and half the straight, it's do-able and fucking fun at that

Is this the place in Melrose Park? If so I would be down to take a trip out there.

i think its safe to assume that "melrose park grand prix" is in melrose park...

I've been trying to get a hold of the guy who schedules time slots to hold ours. I'm trying to get 7:30 or 8pm as I know people are slow at showing up. IF YOU ARE LATE, YOU WILL NOT RACE WITH US.

I have the time slot reserved for us. I will have a link to register online which will make it much faster once we get there. I put a $100 deposit down. So people paying cash can just pay me and I will use my credit for you.

Price is a flat $20 per person, for 3 races. They are waiving license costs ($5), and head sock cost ($1).

That is a lot cheaper when compared to what we were paying last year.

Does the $20 only apply for the first 3 races, or can you do 6 races for $40?

I believe additional races are $10, though I am not sure.
