PostSubject: Legend of LongGrain. An AE86 success story. Part 1   November 22nd 2009, 10:08 pm

I bought a corolla.. Most of you have seen it before, its red. Ive been trying really hard to keep a detailed photo record of the crap I do to it.

it looks like this.

It could use a little spacer in the back, but its cool

There wasnt enough red going on for me, so I put this seat in to add a little color.

It also had a bad starter, but the car came with a magic stick that made the starter work... but I changed it anyway. heres a picture of the new one. I also ordered a BOSS kit for my steering wheel, ebay took a while to mail it to me though.

Now that all that was squared away I moved on to more important things.

like decals....

right about now is when my BOSS kit came in the mail.

I quickly installed it after using a crank pully removal tool to demolish the old wheel.

more cool things to come, thank you for reading

umm, immediate plans are to get the PS working, and fix the dash lights (going to end up being way more work than its worth)

as far as new parts go, I'm waiting on a shipping quote for the rear 1/4 window trim. and i'll be picking up a harness and a diff as soon as i have some spare cash.

other than that iono. theres a lot of stuff I want to do. but I need to read more.

HAHA, yea the drive home was boring. no music, no dash lights, no heat. but the car was a champ.

although I did kill it at a red light right when i got onto pulaski and couldnt get it started again... had to push it out of the road.
