I have a vision, but i need some feedback. Im thinking of holding a Drfit/AutoX event everyweek ( except winter ). This event will be held in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It could be a perfect time to practice, have fun, socialize, compete, what ever... Obviouly Im shooting for the surrounding areas, and Chicago area. I Just need to know who would actually come. I also would like any feedback/suggestions from anyone, and that goes for days, price, idea, and if you would be willing to help in anyway. Please feel free to ask any questions and I will answer to the best of my ability. Also pass along the word . Thanks for your time and hopfully we can get this rollin....

LIke i said on cfr, for the right price i would be down.
I think we need some sort of weekly event so we can get the kind of driving time and practice the guys in Japan and Cali do.

i was thinkin like $25 dollars a week or like joining the organization and pay $90 a month. You know kida like if you join and pay the monthly or yearly cost it ends up being cheaper then paying every week...

yeah, probably do weekly payments, cause if u spend $90 and dont go everyweek. THat just $90 more to have to dish out everymonth.

It's all about the location though.

well Im thining Imma give them the option to either pay weekely or montly. Right now Im just in the pre stages of everything but I appreciate all the input... Keep them comming

bi-weekly is best, evey week is not always enought time for people to fix cars, buy tires, make money, or take off work.

i thinkk weekly would be good for those who have different schedules... maybe a cash prize some how some way???

Hey Hey lets stay on topic, Im not trying to shoot your idea down, cuz everyone loves free but Im trying to make this happen. I have a Venue, now I just need feedback, opinions, and bodies....

I think the monthy idea would be good cause its a membership type thing. That way, people that don't show up aren't wasting your money or time. I for one would love to get in on this, but I don't have much money for anything right now. I would certainly be up for helping you out when I can. Maybe doing some setting up, clean up, or helping get everyone in order. Whatever. But I must ask, any pay or is it strictly cherity? (I'm broke, sorry )

Well Im assuming the venue will require us to have INS. as they do when we hold our CarShow/AutoX events. All the other details will be handled once I get the approval. My main concern is , will people come... As far as helping, Im sure I could use all the help I can get, but we willget into that after everything else... As far a pay, SORRY, this will be comming out of our pockets ( Meaning me and another friend of mine). So we really cant afford to pay anyone to help.... Also another reason wy I need to know if people would come... So anyways when I get the approval, I will let everyone know and we will go from there.....

Thats why I was saying you should charge membership. Maybe people who pay monthy can have first dibbs on tracktime. Like they get to go first or maybe get free water or something. Something to make it worth while to pay monthy. Then if they don't show, they are still paying to keep the thing going. Pretty much like any membership area. Maybe even have a contract saying so-n-so will be a member for say 6 months. You know what I mean?

I gotcha, that def. somthing to consider.... I like the idea?

Yea, every other week could be better since I'm sure there aren't many people with enough money to keep their car in shape to drive every weekend. Not to mention that things will come up that will keep them from going. But then again, you could do something like 1 weekend its autoX, next is drifting... then alternate.
