Building all the wrong cars

finally decided on tires. sizes will work out ok. ill get something better with the next set of wheels. i will say it again, tires for 16's (when you want to stagger especially) suck dick.

well it looks like the wheels are taking a little longer than planed. so i guess i'll just come out with it.

i ordered Enkei RPF1 in 16x8 +38 all around. the rear will have a 10mm spacer to make them flush. i will stagger the tires though, to keep the car from being too oversteer happy (which it is already when driven hard). tires will more than likely be Dunlop DZ101 in 205/45-15 and 215/45-16. (stock stizes are 185/55-15 and 205/50-15, so its about 20mm wider front and rear)

he's running too much tire imo. i like a stretch. later wi will be buying better wheels, but these are cheap ($215 each!), light (15.6lbs!), and not rotas! (but about the same price!)

Honestly you cannot beat RPF's for a budget wheel.
Its just too bad they dont make them in better fitment for 4-lug 240's.
Very timeless wheel though, I never seem to get sick of them.

Leaving them silver?

probably going to end up white. maybe some other colors in the future. silver on silver looks weird to me. too... blah.

i wish they made better sizes for 4x100 (like 17x8.5 would be nice. lotus guys would love that too)

Honestly I was going to suggest painting/powdercoating them white.
That would look really good.

ordering tires after this upcoming paycheck. need to pay the car payment and plate sticker first. after i get them on the car, spacers will be next, then ill work on getting the S13 all good.

yeah, they have one of those designs that i think will look good for a long while. similar to the TE37.

right now im thinking; F:205/45-16 R:215/45-16 in the Hankook Ventus RS-2

theyre grippier than the Toyo T1R (205/45-16 225/40-16) and the Dunlop Direzza DZ101 (same size as the hankooks). the 240 will be my fun drift car. this is daily/autox(?)

idk, im just on Espelir Super Active Down (Engrish much?) which is a 2" drop from factory. i want to go another inch or inch and a half. i dont want to worry about my oil pan, but i dont want any wheel gap. probably will pick up some cheap-ish coilovers, and upgrade later. too many cars ATM.

What do you have planed for the S13?

Just coil overs and wheels?
