not from chicago but near by in southern wisconsin. I got 2 s13's one stock auto sohc and one ka-t just about finished up motorwise...









i got my red 240 back in like late 04 early 05 and it was a stock sohc pignose 5 speed, and then the timing chain ate through the timing cover and the oil and coolant mixed and well that's when the project started.

And my gold one i got about 6 months ago or so i traded my daily driver rusted out honda civic hatch for it. It had a bad auto tranny at the time but i was ok with that because i had another auto tranny at home. SO we towed it home and we got the tranny in and i just use it as a drive around/work car now.

we try to do atleast once a month. starting arounf march going to about october/november depending on how cold it gets.

people have ran more with less supporting mods on stock bottom end. i've got a tuned ecu and i'm going to be going up to 10-12 while it's being fine tuned on a dyno by a shop. It's not like i'm just going and cranking it up to 15 psi with stock everything and an fmu or anything like that. And if anything i got another ka sitting in the garage.

cause everyone just likes to do motor swaps for fun.

Why not overboost an engine that cant handle it just because you have a spare to put in?

it doesn't really matter, its his car.

And do you really think that if his engine goes its going to be because of the boost? or was it because of the injectors, or a shitty mail-rom tune? hell, he's still running SAFC!
