For anyone that doesn't know me or hasn't heard my loud mouth at the meets, I am Angel aka Rated240r. I have welded quite a few diffs in the past few years for members of this forum and Club FR also.

I am proud to say that none have broken to this day! This is a true testament to my welding abilities and my quest for perfection. I take welding seriously and I do the job right the first time.

I stand by all work performed thumb up

drop it off with an open diff . .

Yes, you can drop off the diff and it will be done in about an hour (might still be a little HOT though). This is the cheaper and less time consuming option.

As for dropping off the car with the diff still installed, that will cost you some extra labor $$. This will take extra time as the diff will have to cool for at least an hour, cleaned, sealed, installed, and filled. Time: 3hrs

Thanks Ty! Yes, I also beat the living hell out of my welded on the streets and at DD14. I sold that one to Tyler's friend and its still going strong!

Sure does, but its a small price to pay for some fun. Granted you could always get a VLSD, but its easier to drift with a welded IMO (on a budget, of course).

yeah. but only with crappy tires and at parking lot speeds. if you have a tire that is remotely decent, ze512 for instance, it is more of a scuffing sound. it was manageable for me when i had an s13.
