New guy from the west burbs (added 240 pics)

So it looks like I'll be joining the 240 family soon. Well, week or less actually. Figured I'd start getting familiar with the local boards and what not.

I come from a honda background, building just for track really (hpde/open track days). But after I sold my track hatchback, I picked up a miata. It's turned into one wacky overbuilt track car. Not tuned/done yet... but its getting there.

For now.. here is the picture of the only car I know will be remaining in the stable for a bit.

Miata will go a bit lower eventually, its for track though... and with chicago roads... and suspension geometry.. not much lower.

The wheel/tire stretch deal is temporary, gave the wife's car the new 205s and tossed her old 195s on the wheels until my other wheels with RA1s are done... and its time for some tires to fit on the 15x8s for track duty.

Welcome man! I've seen your car at AMS last year at their grand opening at their new location. And your also on mwir.

That is me Car was barely functional when I made it out to the meet last year. It's got alot more stuff wrapped up since then, lots left to do... but WAY closer to finished then it was.

Oh.. its home now btw. Was traded as non-running (99% sure its wiring issues)... but it started today and I drove it off the trailer :p

Please no hating on buying a "built" car... it needs lots of love to be useable. It is also the first time I've ever touched a non stock car... so it'll be made into my own project in due time.

Just took a look on club240, yup same car.

Mainly I know it was sold last fall though, and june of 06... you can track its owners through sales on mwir.net :p
