Hey hey new here from Oak Lawn - DUW

What's going on everyone, my names Chris. I'm 19 (20 this June). I was referred here by AMD 240. I have no idea how I missed this forum, I searched and searched for a chicago land 240 forums. I just got my s14 at the end of last year. I got it from a buddy after he hit someone on the highway, the front clip is a little messed up (lol), but the rest of the car is pretty solid. The interior is all ripped apart, but that can be fixed pretty easily. I bought my sr20 blacktop from Osaka JDM, and I do not recommend using them. I got the motor and it was missing pieces and the wiring harness was cut. The cylinders were full of rust.. just nasty, but its all good now.

Anyways, here are a few pictures of the car and motor. Hope to see some of you at the meet saturday!

How often do you guys all meet up? Where are the popular areas you guys all hangout with the cars?

There is a 240 meet this Saturday in around Niles. Other than that, I believe most of us hang out in our garages fixing our junk.

Hahah yeah, Im gonna be down for the meet for sure. Just seein if you guys all like go to a certain place every weekend or something to chill and get some good eats or something

welcome pal! good luck on ur build! its weird u got a poop motor from OsakaJDM... i have bought 3 motors from them so far and all have been really really clean and ran like champs. i've not gotten any nissan motors though. but i got an h22 w/lsd trans, b16 longblock, and a b18c from them and all were good. sucks to hear.
