lost my mounting shit for alternator

I cant find where I put the mounting hardware for the alternator and need help finding a place that could have them. I think it might have been thrown out on accident.. FUUUCK! I might try to find something at home depot or something. probably will stop by a nissan dealer to see if they have it.

got 2 of the three, hopefully i can get the last one (12mm)

that sucks at least you got them off. Me and someone on the forum tried to install stance and couldnt take one strut bolt off lol we tried for hours. i know how it feels one bolt away to make your car work

i was able to get all the bolts through home depot and autozone. Now i just need to get a belt that is slightly larger to fit the quest alternator

if u want i have a alternator from a kade that has everything still on it. I can maybe sell it to u with the belt and everything. It should be the same as the kae. Urs is a 89 correct?

he just said he has a quest alternator. as in the nissan quest.

he was looking for the hardware for the mount.

Isnt he putting it on the single cam ka?

Oh well i thought he was putting it on a ka so i thought it would be easier to stay within the same engine so once u do need something like u loose it then itd be easier to find parts.

quest alternator is 110A IIRC
SX is only 70-80A

Jay is correct. But there are two different versions of the quest alternator. One is 110 amps, the other is 125 amps for the later vg's. I was able to get everything to work out and now the car runs perfectly and the battery is no longer losing its charge. I get 14.2 volts @ idle with radio on and no lights. But another weird thing that i noticed is that the 240sx alternator pulley is meant for 3 rib. But the one that i took out of my car had 4 along with the pulley on the crankshaft.
