This is for people who dont know how to do it obviously, and for those who dont know how to install this one in praticular which gave me HELL. Now this MBC is a turboSmart type, but ones like these, they're all the same. First you have your line running from your throttle body... Now we get too -T(line)- shit off... And the boost controller it self... This should be easy to do, from here on in, all you have to do is turn the knob + or - boost. Before you begin your testing, turn the know all the way - then do 4 + spins and start from there. Note: you can get this boost controller from ebay, there are millions of them there, all going for 7 to 10 bucks. _________________

no, the bov goes in a different T. I think your getting confused because you're looking at that hose rapping around the filter thinking it connects to the T with the arrow, but it actualy connects to my bov. _________________

also, dont use the ebay boost controllers. I wouldn't want one to break one day while i'm driving and boost 20+psi and fuck my motor. Just a thought. _________________

| don't mean to thread jack, but do any of you guy know of this? i remember reading in a article in susper street about a manual boost controller or something, it was like how you can have it at low boost for daily driving, but if at anytime someone pulls up and wants to race you have to set it so it'll go into another setting. so it's like ok i'm driving one day on 6lbs, and then someone pulls up to me and i push a button or twist a knob and it'll go to 15lbs or w.e i don't know i'll have to look up the article. _________________ 1989 240SX Coupe 1993 Cadillac Seville 1991 Integra GS

Nice write up, As far MBC, I prefer to go with Hallman Pro. or even Pro RX, which comes with ceramic ball inside (Cant go wrong with it) holds boost like champ! I went thru alot of MBC's and this was my choice since '98 comes with a knob. Yes zip tie is your friend. What is good about MBC, you install it and you dont have to worry about setting as EBC, just do 3-4 pulls on 3rd gear and you're set, but on the down side is (getting out of the car and setting it up) ;/ if YOU go between race gas/pump (OR if weather change from hot to cold eg: winter) you need to lower your boost :-/ I prefer HKS EBC for dialy driving, consistant boost, low/hi Boost setting which is nice. _________________ '96 S14, '05 EVO RS
